I believe it's because the color red is often associated with heroes like the red Power Ranger is always the leader of the group.
Would like to see a red Pretty Cure become a leader and start a trend of different color Cures becoming leaders for a change.

The morphing sequence felt different without the usual music. Not gonna lie.

Some might think "So Ageha's plan was 100% succesful, and this whole drama was kinda redundant". And you are 100% correct. But I think the main point was Sora knowing that, and still deciding to be brave and "take a leap of faith" against her fears.

Also, you can tell the new ending already has a spot for the leaked 5th precure: Cure Majesty

Very nice comeback for Sora and Mashiro going all out with the fancy letter of encouragement.
That's what you get Battemonda you used to much undergu energy you're to drained to escape, also the look the group at him pure disgust and disappointment.
strange they skipped Cure Peach (either giving a happy message was awkward last episode or her VA must be expensive already).

And next week if that's not foreshadowing then it's a big surprise if Elle-chan is not Cure Majesty
